Yes, we have run all versions of Java 3D on Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, 2000
Professional
and 2000 Server. No problems on any platform. Note that the Unix/Windows
JVM's have different syntax for the -msm and -mxm command line options.
  If you mess up the syntax you may get no error or warning messages but
too-small memory. I tend to use -msm96000000, i.e., spell it out, because
this always works.
BTW, 300 MB is not an unusual requirement for a complex Java 3D display.
