Although I can't think of what the problem might be, I can tell you I use
the NormalGenerator often, without any trouble.

How are you setting up your GeometryInfo object?

Subject: [JAVA3D] NormalGenerator creates excess normals.

Hello,

I posted this question a few months back, with no reply.

Does anybody else use the NormalGenerator? I have used it successfully with
1.1. But since 1.2, it seems buggy. I get more normals generated than I have
vertices. This then causes an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. Does this
happen to anyone else? I have compensated by calculating the normals myself,
but I like the convenience of using the NormalGenerator. Any comments? Is
there a bug.

Cheers,

B.
