Yes!

No, when you use color vertices you dont have to use Coloring
Attrbutes...but you still have to use PolygonAttributes for  the polygons to
be drawn the way you want...for back-face culling purposes, for instances...

Yes, as you can imagine the graph is much smaller with 1 shape3D, 1 geometry
and 1 appearance node than with 30000..:o)))
so the memory requirements are much smaller...
