You may need to change some options in the Java Plugin (control panel).
In the past, I've had to point the "Java Run Time Environment" to where
my JDK is installed.

Also, set the -mx64m option in the "Run Time Parameters".  I would also
enable the showing of the Java Console.

I can not get any of the applets including the j3d demos to work in a
browser although I have no problem getting them to work using the
appletviewer command.

The error that I get in netscape is:
"HelloUniverse not initted"

I looked in the J3D FAQ but it is empty!?
