Don't let Joerg discourage you! Only weenies use Internet Explorer; Real
men such as myself use Netscape Navigator.

But seriously: It works fine for me in Netscape. As far as I know, there
are two different scripts required to get the plugin into Netscape and IE. I
hope I never have to deal with this awful awkwardness - if I ever publish a
program, I will probably let people download it as an Application.

I found a rather thorough set of instructions and explanations in the book
"Ready to Run Java 3D" by (I think) Kirk Brown. It's one of the books
mentioned on Sun's Java 3D Collateral page. The author is big on this plugin
stuff; I only skimmed the book but think I came across 3 explanations of the
process. If you don't have the book handy, I think Sun also explains how to do
this, but I have no idea where.
