There is an extrusion in the package
com.sun.j3d.loaders.vrml97.impl;
You can download this from http://www.web3d.org/TaskGroups/x3d/sun/cvs.html
It is meant to be used with VRLM, but with some effort, you can use it also
for other purposes.
