This is a very common problem and the answer will not delight you.
I\'m sure you know that you need the Java2 plugin instead of a common
<APPLET> tag.
Additionally, you need even more than a J3D.jar. There are also some dlls
that need to be installed. There is no way to do that automatically. You
will have to refer users to the Sun websites and make them download and
install the Java3D runtime.
Even worse, the current 3d runtime v1.2 does not install correctly with the
plugin v1.3. Users have to take care to choose the right runtime directory
when installing, otherwise it will create a 1.2 directory aside the
exisiting 1.3 directory.
I know thats unsatisfactory. Everybody knows.
