Hi everybody,
did anybody got Java3D on a standard PC with the Asus V6800 Graphicscard to
work in stereomode? It doesn't matter
whether Java3D OpenGL or Direct3D.
My situation is, that I have to stick to Java3D 1.1.3 because that is the
version which SGI supports on the IRIX-Platform and
I have the need to stay platformindependent. On a PC i got the Direct3D Version
of Java3D to work in stereomode but the
result was more than bad. The rendering seemed to have some kind of problems
with the Z-Buffer, each Object was
shreded into it's Polygons and spreaded across the z-Axis. So Java3D under
Direct3D seemed not to be an alternative
on the PC-Platform.
Does anybody know, if it is possible, to run Java3D 1.1.3 on the PC in
stereomode?
Best regards,
Nenad Latinovic.
