Hi,
I have a Laptop with Win2K and ATI Rage Pro LT chip and there is no hardware
acc to speak of, not in Java3D (DirectX and OpenGL) or any other app. The
reason is the poor driver policy of ATI which announced just this week that
Win2K drivers for the Rage Family are further delayed. Therefore, I would
suggest not to buy a laptop with an ATI card which shall run Win2K (which is
otherwise great for laptops, much better than Win98).
Ciao, Tom
