A while back, there was some discussion about video cards. I'm looking at getting a new computer and am considering the following: CPU: AMD 1.1 GHz Athlon Video: ASUS V7700 GeForce 2 GTS w/64Mb DDR memory OS: Windows 98, Linux, Solaris 8 (tri booting). I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback as to whether this will be adequate for Volume rendering using Java 3D.
