I was looking at the Future Product Information and it was completely silent
about any signed installer hosted by java.sun. What it the status of this?
This is very important and the lack of such a convenience is a huge
hindrance to people who want to write applets with Java3D and, therefore, a
huge hindrance to Java3D.

list
of what we are thinking about adding for Version 1.3. This list is
preliminary
and we are actively working on the topics. You will see the proposed API for
1.3
later, as we develop it.
In the future, we will add more information about future releases as the
plans
develop and processes are started, for 1.3 and 1.4.
