Yes, let's all vote for that! I read somewhere in the press it's in the
works for OS X and as some Java3D FAQ on the Sun site states:
Java 3D API is a joint collaboration between Intel, Silicon Graphics, Apple,
and Sun. All four companies had advanced retained mode APIs under
development and were looking at developing Java versions. These companies
decided to pool their efforts to develop a single, compatible API that could
truly be cross-platform.
... one can only expect this to happen in the near future.
