Using 1.1.8, I have created a class SolidK that simply instantiates a colored fill3DRect rectangle. In a separate class, I instantiate the SolidK object and add it to a JScrollPane, located in the CENTER of a content pane with a border layout. My expectation was that I would be able to scroll the SolidK drawing but apparently the drawing is absolutely placed on the screen in a fixed position - and changing the window size in no way translated the position of the SolidK drawing. Do I have to instantiate the SolidK object and set its location each time I make a change in the window size? Does the addition of a drawing (not an image) affect the scrolling behavior of a JScrollPane? The UIManager for the content pane adjusts the EAST,WEST,NORTH,SOUTH and CENTER territories but has no affect on the drawing location. Why? And are there other techniques or methods that can be used to translate the position of the drawing without have to re-instantiate the object and repaint the screen? Thanks in advance . =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
