Amazing how this sounds like propaganda... ;) "Those who hate capitalism, competition, freedom, the US, or our court system please don't reply to this thread" I love competition... which is why Java3D is even here. ;) Instead of this propaganda type "bulk-mail-looking" email, it would be nice if the sender would just "politely" send a link instead of sending the whole thing every single time. Or even better, an objective comparison of these other 3D products. I agree... there are times when software-only rendering engines are the way to go. In my case, I NEED fast, hardware-accelerated scene-graph-level software. Do any of these other products meet my needs? Good objective answers are better than just Microsoft-bashing (BTW, Java3D is not made by Microsoft). I'm an engineer... I need facts. okay, I'm done ;) -Lee > -----Original Message----- > From: P Flavin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, February 26, 2001 3:17 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [JAVA3D] Networked 3D Games...
