You will have to do something like;

Set the TransformGroup to the original Transform3D values

or

Keep a copy of the initial Transform3D of that TransformGroup and when u reset the
button just do tg.setTransform(t3d)

Subject: [JAVA3D] reset scene postion/angle

Hi,

  I have a question on how to control the scene by a button. In my scene
graph, I used MouseRotate,MouseZoom,MouseTranslate Behaviors, when a user
use mouse to rotate,zoom,etc,the Shape3D in the scene, the angle and
position of the Shape3D will change. Now, I want to use a button to reset
the position and angle of the Shape3D, so that it will be on the Top-down
view in the default, no matter what angle and position it is now, when I
click the reset button, it should always give me the top-down view of the
scene, in the actionPerformed Method of the reset button,How can I control
the scene in the way I want during the run time?

  Any suggestions are welcome!

  Thanks.

David
