Hello,
I've been using J3DFly to test two different VRML loaders : NCSA & XJ3D.
The sample Vrml contains one node : an IndexedFaceSet geometry (describing
a surface) associated with an appearance ImageTexture.
This sample VRML doesn't load properly with either loader, unfortunately.
The most successfull loader seems to be that from xj3d, which at least
enables the surface to be displayed with some kind of a texture, shamefully
different from the specified image (an aerial photography).
Using a VRML browser (Cosmoplayer) with the scene works perfectly so the
VRML seems to be OK.
As I am kind of a newbie with Java3D developping I am wondering if this is
a well known limitation to VRML loading, or j3D texturing ...
Could anyone give me some information on this topic ? Thanks in advance.
Olivier
