[JAVA3D] Interactive Animation in java3d

Hi,
 
I am new to java3d. I am moving an 3D object(cone) using Alpha and KBRotPosScaleSplinePathInterpolator, but i would like to obtain the position of the object in the path at any perticular time so that I can generate events like writting a text or changing color of the cone etc.
