        I knew that article, but now I'm looking how to do it with a
JDialog.

      I understood from the article too, that it has no sense to use a
Canvas3D inside a InternalFrame environment because of it's heavyness.

        I think that it's a wide limit for Canvas3D and Java3D.

        Don�t think so?

        If anyone has any more ideas...

I used Guideline 4 for My Swing Menues over the Canvas3D:

Guideline  No. 4

If you place Swing popup components in a window
containing heavyweight  components and it's possible that
the popup windows will intersect a heavyweight,
then invoke

             JPopupMenu.setDefaultLightWeightPopupEnabled(false)

before the popup components are instantiated.
