I'm doing what you are asking about in my current project (I believe)...
You need to assign transparency to parts of a gif file in a image editing
program, like GIMP or PaintShop for example, and then save it, just like you
would do for using the gif image for the web. Then apply the code I posted
yesterday to make that transparency work.
But now Im not sure your problem. Do you mean transparent or translucent?
