translation vector for translation along z-axis must be (0.0,0.0,x) where x is
the amount of the translation.
I would sugggest using a scene graph like that

|____TGb__TGb1__BARb1
TGa, TGb, ... are used for the translation of a complete row of bars along z
axis ang TGa1, TGa2 are used to position each bar along x-axis.
