Well that's quite easy to answer.
First anfy3D does not use JAVA2. Anfy3D total class sizes are packed in a
jar arround 25kbytes. Anfy3D has a very light scenegraph with far less
features than JAVA3D.
If you want some nice 3D applets running in all browsers (okay there is a
some class restriction bug somewhere in the newest version prefending it
to run in JAVA2 browsers) with a reasonable speed but not so high
resolution
(I know they have a GL4Java render also, but it's still alot slower than
JAVA3D OpenGL or DirectX interface) you should go for it. (Maybe something
with it will be shown at EuroGraphics 2001)
They have also a mailinglist running for more questions about anfy3d I
would say join that list or ask Fabio Ciucci or more likely Andrea Fasce
(who is the main programmer behind it).
