Justin,

I am going to import the terrain data (elevation points x,y,z). Hopefully
convert to the VRML format. Don't know if possible. Then I need to write
some function (probably by Java) to query the elevation data on the screen.
That means the program will return the information about the terrain when
the user click on the screen. Do you think it's possible to implement by
using Java3D and Java?
I think Java3d is most likely to render the VRML data. If my concept is not
right, please correct me. I am just a beginner in Java3D and VRML.

Many thanks.

Kenneth
