The scene will only be locked while drawing. The drawn geometries should then move
with the scene. If I just wanted them to stay in front I guess I could have used the
overlay library?

This approach has crossed my mind, but them problem with is that everything in an
image get scaled if you for example zoom, resize the window, etc. It is important for
my application that lines, text, etc. do not get thick and ugly.
