I'm using Cortona, and it looks like it's got OpenGL acceleration.
Switching off the textures has actually taken me up to about 20
frames/second - fast enough to be watchable, but slow enough that it won't
be if it gets much worse.  In non-EAI applications I'm getting 40ish fps,
which is not too bad...

I would try it with other browsers, but I'm having such a mare trying to
switch that I'm not sure it's worth the bother.
