[JAVA3D] video card concept question

HEllo everybody .... I would like to ask 2 concepts that I saw in my NVidia GeForce 3Dcard . 1 what a "Texel" exactly is and what's the difference between it and a pixel.... 2 When it features 350 MHz of RAMDAC... is that a frecuency for access to the memory or what? Thanks in advance everyone
