The only thing preventing me from having put it in any earlier is DaveY
giving a formal "yes it is OK to LGPL the code" and who the copyright
header should name. My working copy here already has the overlay code
(dave's version) with some of my own additions, so there's a spot
already for it.
How unstable is the code? If it crashes only occasionaly, that may be
good enough to put into the repository as the rest of the code is only
alpha quality anyway.
Now that the Web3D SDK CD is completed, the load is off me to a fair
degree. I could look at the code and any tidy-ups before Siggraph. I'm
using the overlay stuff in a demo that I hope to be able to show at
Siggraph so there'll be some attention paid to it.
