Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if these parameters can be set for
the Java Plug-In for an applet in the html as part of (or in conjuction
with) the OBJECT tag? I know they can be set in the Java Plugin Control
Panel (in Windows) but this is not a nice solution because anyone accessing
the applet must have these set in their control panel and may not know to do
so.
Thanks in advance.
Joe

Subject: Re: [JAVA3D] how to solve the "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError"
By default, Java uses 16 MB of memory and the error you are getting
says
that your program needs more than Java's default. Try "java -mx64m
<program>"
to give Java 64 MB of memory.
See http://ncmir.ucsd.edu/~mona/java3dFAQ.html#memory for more
details.
