I just installed the new Detonator XP (5.13.01.2181) drivers from NVidia for
my TNT1 machine. After I did the install, I looked at the OpenGL properties
in the Riva TNT properties...Additional Properties, OpenGL settings, and
under the "Performance and Compatability Options" section I see the
following option:
"Enable quadbuffered stereo API"
I do a mouseover with the ? and I get:
"Allows the driver to export stereo pixelformats. OpenGL applications can
now use stereo and will enable the stereo shutter glasses."
Is this a new feature or has this been there all along?
Does this mean that I can do stereo viewing on my TNT1?
Does Java3D support this card for stereo?
What other hardware do I need/where can I get it?
Thanks,
Michael P. McCutcheon
