Hi all, again, First, I would like to offer my respcect to America, for the tragedy that has happened due to the futility of terroism. I have a friend who moved to Manhattan on Saturday working for Golden Sachs, so I am also very worried about his, and others safety. Secondly, thanks go to those of you who have helped answering my queries in the past, including SUN. My point in question is this: When I import a 3DS Max model, it imports the diffuse color as well, that can interefere with the appearance of the object in a lit scene. I can set this to white in 3DS and it's fine, however for complex models, it makes it hard to work with in 3DS as you cannot distinguish objects. The other option I believe, is to traverse the Scene and set the diffuse color of the appearances to white in Java3D. I'm not sure if I have got the right idea about this, if not, please let me know. Otherwise, what is the recommended solution for avoiding blending of the diffuse color with the texture on an imported model? Thanks Sky Rumsey University of Sussex, UK. =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
