"Trial and Error" - it's the only way to compensate for lack of
documentation.
Ok, that's not a very helpful answer. To be serious the best way to
learn Java 3D is to read the tutorial, start with the demo programs and
get a little help from those of us on this list that will help out. The
Sun Engineers have been fantastic in helping. So just dig in and ask
for help when you are puzzled.
