Hello, I am having difficulty running any Java3D apps on Ultra5 machines.
They are installed with Solaris 8 + very recent patches. I installed Java
1.3 SDK from Sun's website, then followed the instruction for Java3D
(including installing some more patches before installing java3d).

There wasn't a lot of room for error, and I don't think I did
anything wrong. I am able to run the demo OpenGL program (a big spinning
wheel), and also, by following the same procedure on a Sun Blade system,
Java3d worked correctly.

On the Ultra5's however I can open a window, but not draw to it, and I am
bombarded with the message:

Error Canvas3D_createContext: couldn't create context.

Can anyone help? Thanks,

Rohit
