Plenty. I'm not intimately familiar with the Portfolio loader, so I'll go over the simple things: - Licensing. Portfolio is free for non-commercial use only. Xj3D is free and also uses the LGPL license so you can do almost whatever you like with it. - Portfolio is no longer actively maintained. Xj3D is. - Range of features: Different ranges, but none of them support the full VRML97 spec. Xj3D is also aiming to support X3D spec too. > - I know that they load VRML models (geometry).
