I've been reading the plethora of posts regarding stereo viewing with Java3d, and I've
come to the conclusion that implementing a working setup may not be as trivial as I
once supposed. Is there a definitive list of those graphics cards that do support
stereo rendering in the manner that Java3D requires?

Perhaps some background would be useful. The group I'm working with wants to implement
a fishtank vr setup, and we would like to use the java3d api if possible. Has anyone
done this successfully before? What combination of graphics card/glasses/tracker/OS
was used? Currently we are leaning towards a card in the ATi FireGL or 3DLabs Oxygen
series', Stereographics CrystalEyes or Stereoeyes glasses, Polhemus IsoTrak 2 or
Fastrak, and Windows 2000.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
