Alan & Justin: she origianally asked for the "best" loaders,
and you got her to use ones that you are saying don't work ? ( see below ) People want stuff that works, not your problems. Be honest with her, and the others, please. ... The VRML Loaders from Sun work very well. Be careful though, some people on this list lie and may try to get you to use some other loaders, and they may cause problems ... Sorry, I tried to warn you. Aaron Walsh & Justin Couch say the Sun Loaders don't work. It's a lie. If you want to animate Web3d's H-Anim Avatars you need the old loaders, the 'new' ones won't work, the animation of VRML based H-Anim avatars are needed for some versions of MPEG-4 ... it's fun & interesting ... But the lies, threats & unethical stuff is a drag. People going into books stores and looking at Aaron Walsh's book would read that you can't animate Web3d's VRML based H-Anim Avatars with Java3d so they probably would choose not to use Java3d, VRML or H-Anim ( unless they knew Walsh was a liar ). The lies of Aaron Walsh, Justin Couch & the others ... hurt us all. -- Paul, Java Developer & Web Animator ----------------------------------------------------- "Imaging the Imagined: Modeling with Math & a Keyboard" =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
