Hello It's just that the ViewPlatform has to be transformed with a TG with Vector with Z component, for example (0.0f, 0.0f, 2.4f), and the ColorCube with a diferent TG. First it's not wise to hang the view/ViewPlatform to the same TransformGroup as your scene content. (Did you add the viewPlatform at all (don't remember)). Second you don't have any light. So if the color cube hasn't got any emissive material color it won't appear. Third maybe you should move your viewPlatform a bit away. It could be that your view is actually inside of the cube. Backface culling will prevent you to see anything then.
