Hello Justin, As a surveying engineer specialized in the area of GIS and also as a java developper of a GIS client viewer program, I am interest in the list you are proposing. As I am NOT a java3D expert, but rather a newbie, I don't think I could bring very usefull contributions, but nevertheless I'm willing to read discussions on terrain modelling topics and may help on theoretical aspects.
