java3d-1_3-beta2-windows-i586-directx-sdk.exe shows the same, crashing immediately.
I cross-checked with java3d-1_3-beta1-win-opengl-sdk.exe and java3d-1_2_1_04-win32-opengl-sdk.exe, which both install without problem.
