The scene is positioned wherever the source file puts it. There will be
the stock origin, but if you end up with a tool like Caligari's
TrueSpace that has a tendency to position objects off at some far
distance from the origin then there is not much to do with it. You would
probbably need to walk to one node below the root and see what the
bounds for the individual subgraphs are and try to work out what their
positions are.
