Hi All, I am running java 3D on a machine I have telnet'ed to over a network. Trying the HelloUniverse demo, it brings up the spinning cube as it should, but it also seems to be trying to write something to the console on :0.0 (see below). I have run setenv DISPLAY ca:0 on the machine I am telneting to and xhost on my machine. When I run it on the machine locally (not telneting) it works fine and does not bring up any other display.
What is it trying to write, and how do I stop this error? To reiterate, other than the error it is working. It brings up the window and I see the spinning cube. Error - Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified Machine I am telneting to - Red Hat linux 7.3 Java 1.4.1 (get the same error with 1.4.0) Java 3D 1.3 My machine SunOS 5.8 Generic 108528-13 December 2001 on a SunBlade 3000 Thanks for any help, Hugh Morgan =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
