Hello, I'm using Windows 2000 SP2 with a graphics card reported as "nVidia GeForce DDR". I've just downloaded and installed the DirectX version and it works without any problem (that is, it doesn't crash like the OpenGL version and behaves as expected).
I'm afraid I momentarily don't have enough time to send a complete test case, but if the above informations are not sufficient, I'll try and build a test case - simply not today I'm afraid!
