I had a slightly different requirement in that I wanted an open source
version.  Seems I kept running into bugs in the software packages.  I
spent a fair bit of time working with Mozilla's install program...  but
in the end it was too hard to rip out of Mozilla.  There was also a perl
or TCL based one floating around but I didn't really delve into that one
much.
