This makes sense, but I don't think my problem has anything to do with how the geometry is sorted. My problem is that the text is not fully transparent when under the OrderedGroup. It sometimes occludes the text behind it as you can see in the example I posted in the other email. I would think even if it was sorted incorrectly, you would still be able to see parts of each text because they're supposed to be transparent. And I think that's what Andreas was saying he also saw in his application.
