IntelliJ IDEA is also another good environment, but it costs around
$400US, I think. It's got great refactoring, JUnit, and Ant support,
and is highly recommended by many in the XP community.

As Zak says, Eclipse is free though and has many similar features.

I could be an old-skool guy and say that nothing beats emacs (I think
you can get a class browser, or at least a file browser, for it if you
install the JDE plugin). ;o)
