I have managed to install an IDE (NetBeans), j2sdk1.4.0_02, and Java 3D 1.3 and successfully compile some of the simple Hello3d type examples in the tutorials.
When I run them, I get a Java window, but it is black. No visible Cube or Sphere (depending on example). I don't have the faintest idea what to look for next. I have DirectX8.1b also installed. Any suggestions appreciated.
