Hi Patti,

The problem is that the viewer is too close to the models, and there is
nothing to be seen! It's all just black. The only way to see the 3d models
is to zoom away from them. I think that you should set the correct position
for viewing the models right from the beginning.

Cheers,

Florin

In response to a number of e-mails I recieved over the weekend: Please
make sure to verify your Java3D applet (running a browser) setup by running
the demos distributed by Sun. These reside in the demo\java3d area of the
directory where Java is installed on your machine.
For example, C:\j2sdk1.4.1_01\demo\java3d\index.html.

If you are unsure where the demos are, I've placed a copy of HelloUniverse
demo on the website http://fastscript3d.jpl.nasa.gov as well. If you
are able to run the applet demo's provided by Sun, then the applet demos
on this website should run properly for you. If you are not able to run
HelloUniverse, please check you Java and Java3D setup again.

I thank in advance those who have come to the web site to try it out!

Patti Koenig
