Dear Kelvin,

I have sent this bug to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and also 3Dlabs. It seems
to me no one knows the cause and how to fix it. Would you please look at it
? The attachment includes the Java source code PatientImage.java and class
files as well as the batch file run.bat.

The problem is as follows.
Java GUI (Swing) becomes gray when running in stereo mode (see attachment).

It was running on
  Gateway Intel Pentium 4, 1.7GHz, 512MB RAM,
  Windows 2000 Professional,
  3Dlabs WildCat VP 870
  ViewSonic PF790 Monitor

I have installed the following Java APIs onto the Gateway.
(1) J2SE 1.4.1
(2) Java 3D 1.3 (OpenGL Version)

Unzip the attachment to a directory and run the batch "run.bat" in the
"PatientImage" subdirectory

Run the batch file with "Enable Stereo OpenGL" (3Dlabs Display
Setting...) checked

After the application is launched, look at the top portion of the frame,
i.e., the label area. If you click right mouse and release it, a popup menu
will show up. The popup menu will be grayed out too with "Enable Stereo
OpenGL" checked in 3Dlabs Display setting.

Meide Zhao.
