most likely this is due to the back clipping plane distance...you'll have
to reset your views backclip distance:
view.setBackClipDistance( 300.0 );
You can also set your front clip distance to bring it close so when you zoom
in you can zoom closer
view.setFrontClipDistance( 0.1 );
Note: the ratio of the back clip to front clip distances should be about
3000
...I can't remember the reason but this is a recommendation. In reality I
was able to make these distances bigger so you can try it yourself.

Hello all,
I've created a scenegraph subject to mouse zooming behaviors but when I
zoom out to a certain point the portion of the scene at the far back just
disappears, like it is disappearing behind a black curtain. The same
thing happens if I start with the viewing platform too far away from the
origin, i.e. at a certain distance the scene just disappears.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
