You can check my site. Just go to http://jdraw3d.herinean.com and you will
see several examples of how to use java3d with textures.

You should check the "Textures Demo". The applet will have in the top-left
corner a button that you can use to select various texturing examples,
including ones with transparency.

As a warning, some of the textures are quite big, for example the
"Transparent texture" uses one .png texture of 600 kb.

Hi!, I still have problems with making part of a texture invisible
(transparent), so I was wondering if someone has an fully functional
example to look at and see if is a flag in the creation of the material,
or something ... or if you could please direct to a web source with such
example ... just an example in which a texture is transparent and I can
see behind it.  Thanks a lot!
