does anyone know any tricks for setting up a cross section of some 3D object....at a certain point on say axis 'X'. ?
I have my view doing great in perspective, and also in orthographic, but when I want orthographic with a near of say 1 and a far of say 2, where my objects are thousands of units long, I want a thin cross section slice....see what I mean? but becuase the objects are transparent the cross section doesn't show anything unless i let my far param be very far away...thus showing the entire object in an ortho view....but i only want the thin slice....see what i mean?
