I'm happy that you managed it, but believe me, you don't need to uninstall. Just start the "same" version of the installer again and install with the *same* options as before (location, etc.). There is a jvm.lib in java\lib, which is not needed for java to run, but for compiling native libraries (just tested).   Just for your sake, I've deleted that file. There was obvious no result. Then I've deleted rt.jar from both the jdk and jre folders. Now jave wouldn't start anymore.   Ok, now I've reinstalled the jdk. Absolutely no problems. Why should it be ? The thing that I've done was to "reinstall" and not to "uninstall". Which is that the Plugin does not want to aninstall. because therre is mo JAR.   My Florin try to think next time before responding like a beginiers in computer.
